Schematic of the trigger cable.
As you can see you need :
- 1x 4 pole 2,5mm Jack
- 1x 2,2 kOhm Resistor (SMD 1206/0805 or wired)
- 1x 2,7 kOhm Resistor (SMD 1206/0805 or wired)
- 1x 30..33 kOhm Resistor (SMD 1206/0805 or wired)
- 1x key for FOCUS+TRIGGER
- 1x shielded cable ( I used up to 10m (shield +1 wire))
I simply mounted the cable into an old
pen housing.

* Only two pins of the jack are used, I do not yet know the meaning of
the other pins. (to be done)
* I only used S1 in the schematics. A separated S2 is not needed
normally.
* With ONE key the camera triggers on releasing the key.
